  • While no online system can guarantee complete protection, InnerSoulstice follows global best-practice standards equivalent to ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 1, and GDPR privacy-by-design principles to ensure that your information is secure.

2. Spiritual Data Stewardship

We understand that your reflections may hold deeply personal emotions, life experiences and spiritual insights. This includes your Personality Profile Readings, your Pattern Coach conversations, your Relationship Analyses, and the rolling Coaching Profile that allows Pattern Coach to remember your work across sessions. We treat all of this information with the highest level of sensitivity and respect. It is viewed as an expression of your soul's journey rather than as data to be analysed or reviewed.

Your entries are stored securely in our private Firebase database. They are visible only to you through your personal account. No InnerSoulstice team member reads, reviews or monitors any individual entries, chat conversations, questions or AI responses.

Administrative access to the database is limited to the app owner and is used only when essential technical maintenance is required. This access is protected by multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions and detailed audit logs.

Each user is assigned a unique system-generated identifier. All Personality Profile Readings, Pattern Coach conversations, Coaching Profile entries and Relationship Analyses are stored under this anonymous identifier in separate databases. Each entry has its own additional system-generated code. Administrators cannot search or locate readings, chats or coaching entries by name, email address or content.

These combined protections mean your spiritual reflections are truly private. We act as stewards, not observers, of your spiritual information. Our role is to protect it and hold this space as sacred for your personal journey, not to look at it.

3. Global Privacy Commitments

InnerSoulstice is currently available in the following countries: Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. The Services are not available in any other jurisdictions, including the European Union. If you are accessing the Services from outside the supported countries, you are doing so contrary to these Terms and should stop using the Services.

We comply with leading privacy regulations across the jurisdictions where the Services are available, including:

7. AI Ethics and Data Integrity

The insights, reflections and guidance within InnerSoulstice are generated by combining structured spiritual and coaching frameworks with a large language model (LLM) hosted by OpenAI.

The frameworks we have authored define the structure, tone, sequence and safety guards of every response. The LLM is the language engine that turns those frameworks into your personalized response. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or behavioral prediction.

​​

The information we send to OpenAI to generate your response never contains your personally identifying information. We do not send your name, surname, email address, full date of birth, or any account identifier that could be traced back to you. The names of other people you may reflect on are also never sent. 

​​

Please note that if you choose to type identifying information yourself within your reflections (for example, a person's name), that text becomes part of what is sent to the AI. We recommend referring to people by relationship type rather than by name when reflecting in Pattern Coach.

Our AI functions as a supportive companion for spiritual reflection and pattern coaching. It allows you to receive personalized insights instantly without needing to consult a practitioner. 

​​

OpenAI processes the inputs we send under their standard API data handling policies, which include not using API customer inputs to train their models and retaining inputs only briefly for abuse-monitoring purposes before deletion. We do not store your data with any other third party for AI-related purposes.

 

Every response you receive is generated based solely on your input, your Coaching Profile, and the spiritual and coaching frameworks contained within the app.

a. Limitations of AI as Emotional Support:

​​

  • Pattern Coach is designed to support reflection and personal pattern work. It is not a substitute for licensed mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, thoughts of harming yourself or others, active abuse, severe dissociation, or any situation requiring immediate professional support, please contact a qualified human professional or emergency services in your area. 

  • Pattern Coach includes gentle prompts to seek outside support when material surfaces that may benefit from in-person care. The responsibility for seeking that care rests with you.

  • Pattern Coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist or medical professional. It cannot diagnose, treat or manage mental health conditions. Its insights are offered for self-reflection and personal growth, not as clinical advice.

  • For concrete crisis resources by region, see Section 11a below.

 

b. Sensitive Personal Data and Explicit Consent:

​

  • Some of the information you choose to share with Pattern Coach may be considered "sensitive" or "special" personal data under privacy laws including UK GDPR, California's CPRA, South Africa's POPIA and similar regimes. This includes information about your mental and emotional health, family history, traumatic experiences, and religious or spiritual beliefs.

  • By choosing to use Pattern Coach, you give us your explicit consent to process this sensitive personal information for the sole purpose of generating coaching responses and maintaining your Coaching Profile across sessions.

This consent is:

  • Specific to the Pattern Coach feature and the purposes described above.

  • Informed by this Privacy Policy and the in-app consent flow.

  • Freely given. 

  • Withdrawable at any time through your account settings, where you can delete your Pattern Coach conversation history, your Coaching Profile, or your entire account at any time without contacting support.

  • Under California's CPRA, you have the right to limit our use of your sensitive personal information to what is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested. We commit to using your sensitive personal data only for the purpose of generating Pattern Coach responses and not for any other purpose without your further consent.

c. Pattern Coach Specific Disclosure

​

  • Pattern Coach uses an artificial intelligence model to engage in conversational reflection. Pattern Coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist or medical professional. While Pattern Coach is designed with safety guards and follows structured frameworks intended to support healthy reflection, it can occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or not the right fit for your situation.

  • You retain full agency over what to share, how to interpret any reflections offered, and how to act on them. If anything Pattern Coach says feels unsafe, inaccurate or unhelpful, please pause the conversation and consult a qualified human professional.

8. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only when necessary to operate the Services securely.

This includes:

 

  • Google Firebase for hosting, data storage and analytics.

  • OpenAI for AI processing. When you interact with Pattern Coach, request a Personality Profile Reading, generate a Relationship Analysis, or receive AI-generated reflections in the app, the inputs needed to generate your response are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's terms commit to not training on API customer data and to brief, abuse-monitoring-only retention before deletion.

  • Apple and Google for processing in-app payments.

  • RevenueCat for managing subscriptions and validating receipts.

  • FlutterFlow integration tools to connect securely with billing systems. These tools do not store or sell data.

  • Meta (Facebook SDK) for anonymous analytics to help us understand how people discover the app. No personal or spiritual data is shared.

  • In the future, we may use Stripe for website-based payment processing. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.

  • All service providers we work with must follow strict privacy laws and maintain strong security standards.

a. Data Retention

​

  • We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide the Services or as required by law.

  • Your Personality Profile Readings, Pattern Coach chat history, Coaching Profile and Relationship Analyses remain in your account for as long as you continue to use the Services.

  • If you delete your account, all associated personal data is deleted within thirty days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (for example, payment transaction records for tax purposes, which are typically retained for seven years).

  • Encrypted backups are retained for 7 days as part of our disaster recovery practices before being permanently overwritten.

  • Anonymous analytics data that cannot be linked to your identity may be retained for longer periods to help us improve the Services.

  • You may request immediate deletion of specific entries or your full account at any time by contacting us at support@innersoulsticeapp.com.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer your personal information and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at support@innersoulsticeapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

 

In addition to the general rights above, you have the following specific rights depending on your location:

  • Right of access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, in a portable format.

  • Right of rectification: correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Right of deletion: delete your account and all associated data at any time through account settings, or request complete deletion by contacting support.

  • Right to restrict processing: ask us to limit how we use your data while a query is being resolved.

  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

  • Right to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you Services, charge different prices, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

  • California residents (CCPA / CPRA): the Right to Know what personal information we collect, the Right to Delete, the Right to Opt-Out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (covered in Section 7b).

  • UK residents (UK GDPR): the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

  • South African residents (POPIA): you have the right to be notified about the collection and processing of your personal information, the right to access and correct, and the right to object to processing.

  • Residents of other supported countries: you have equivalent rights as provided by your local privacy law.

 

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly through account settings in the app. For other requests, please email

10. International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily processed and stored in the United States, where our hosting provider (Google Firebase) and AI processor (OpenAI) operate. If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, you understand and consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States.

We use appropriate safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, contractual protections with our service providers, and adherence to enterprise-grade security standards to ensure your information remains secure wherever it is processed.

InnerSoulstice is intended for adults aged eighteen and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If we become aware that data from a minor has been collected, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians may contact us if they believe their child has provided information in error.

Pattern Coach uses an artificial intelligence model to engage in conversational reflection. Pattern Coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist or medical professional. While Pattern Coach is designed with safety guards and follows structured frameworks intended to support healthy reflection, it can occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or not the right fit for your situation.

You retain full agency over what to share, how to interpret any reflections offered, and how to act on them. If anything Pattern Coach says feels unsafe, inaccurate or unhelpful, please pause the conversation and consult a qualified human professional.

8. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only when necessary to operate the Services securely. 

 

This includes:

 

  • Google Firebase for hosting, data storage and analytics.

  • OpenAI for AI processing. When you interact with Pattern Coach, request a Personality Profile Reading, generate a Relationship Analysis, or receive AI-generated reflections in the app, the inputs needed to generate your response are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's terms commit to not training on API customer data and to brief, abuse-monitoring-only retention before deletion.

  • Apple and Google for processing in-app payments.

  • RevenueCat for managing subscriptions and validating receipts.

  • FlutterFlow integration tools to connect securely with billing systems. These tools do not store or sell data.

  • Meta (Facebook SDK) for anonymous analytics to help us understand how people discover the app. No personal or spiritual data is shared.

  • In the future, we may use Stripe for website-based payment processing. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.

  • All service providers we work with must follow strict privacy laws and maintain strong security standards.

a. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide the Services or as required by law.

Your Personality Profile Readings, Pattern Coach chat history, Coaching Profile and Relationship Analyses remain in your account for as long as you continue to use the Services.

If you delete your account, all associated personal data is deleted within thirty days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (for example, payment transaction records for tax purposes, which are typically retained for seven years).

​

Encrypted backups are retained for 7 days as part of our disaster recovery practices before being permanently overwritten.

Anonymous analytics data that cannot be linked to your identity may be retained for longer periods to help us improve the Services.

You may request immediate deletion of specific entries or your full account at any time by contacting us at support@innersoulsticeapp.com.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer your personal information and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at support@innersoulsticeapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

 

In addition to the general rights above, you have the following specific rights depending on your location:

  • Right of access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, in a portable format.

  • Right of rectification: correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Right of deletion: delete your account and all associated data at any time through account settings, or request complete deletion by contacting support.

  • Right to restrict processing: ask us to limit how we use your data while a query is being resolved.

  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

  • Right to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you Services, charge different prices, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

  • California residents (CCPA / CPRA): the Right to Know what personal information we collect, the Right to Delete, the Right to Opt-Out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (covered in Section 7b).

  • UK residents (UK GDPR): the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

  • South African residents (POPIA): you have the right to be notified about the collection and processing of your personal information, the right to access and correct, and the right to object to processing.

  • Residents of other supported countries: you have equivalent rights as provided by your local privacy law.

 

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly through account settings in the app. For other requests, please email

10. International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily processed and stored in the United States, where our hosting provider (Google Firebase) and AI processor (OpenAI) operate. If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, you understand and consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States.

We use appropriate safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, contractual protections with our service providers, and adherence to enterprise-grade security standards to ensure your information remains secure wherever it is processed.

11. Childrens Privacy

InnerSoulstice is intended for adults aged eighteen and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If we become aware that data from a minor has been collected, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians may contact us if they believe their child has provided information in error.

13. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal obligations. When we make significant updates, we will adjust the "Last Updated" date above and may notify you within the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after an update means that you accept the revised version.
